INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Colleen uses a relational psychodynamic approach, exploring how early relationships and current interactions with others and the world shape thoughts, emotions, and daily experiences. By examining these relationships and their impact, clients can develop healthier patterns with friends, family, and partners, leading to more fulfilling connections.
She also focuses on building upon existing strengths to support emotional and mental well-being. By integrating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, Colleen helps clients uncover their purpose, clarify their needs, and live as their most authentic selves.
couples therapy
Colleen works with couples using the Gottman Method and emotion-focused couples therapy to address "stuck" feelings, escalating cycles of conflict, emotional and sexual incompatibilities, and difficulty being vulnerable together. She specializes in uncovering and addressing the root of communication issues.
